Our original plan for the summer was to take the kids to the Yukon but our travel plans didn’t work out because of Covid so we spent a couple weeks exploring some places we haven't been on Vancouver Island. This was our favorite, San Josef Bay in Cape Scott Provincial Park. It is a 5 hour drive, half of which is on a gravel logging road, then an hour and a half hike and you reach this beach. We camped right on the beach which stretched for kilometers.

At low tide we walked amongst these sea stacks, an amazing place to explore, especially with kids.
