These are photos from the first couple of days of our trip to Ontario.
First day of our trip didn't exactly go to plan. Had breakfast on the ferry and started the 6 hour drive to Shuswap lake. But going over the Coquahalla there was a load POP from the engine and the truck immediately slowed from 100 to 60 km/h. Truck was still drivable but couldn't go above 80 km/h, we decided to slowly drive to Kamloops and found an RV park for the night. Ended up being an air intake pipe that came loose, it took a day to order the part but we eventually got on the road again. Didn't take many photos because was busy dealing with things but here are some from the ferry and one of RV park we stayed at.
Day 2 of our trip we got a call from the mechanic around 10am letting us know that they needed to order a part from Edmonton so we couldn't get the truck till the next day. So I quickly rented a car and we drove an hour to the Shuswap lake where we were meeting our friends for camping. Spent the afternoon at the beach then had dinner at the campsite and a cake for Josephine's bday. We had to drive back to the RV park in Kamloops that night but it was a good day and much needed after the stress from the truck breaking down on the first day of the trip.
